sweet tips for lips

Its winter in Australia at the moment, and I am absolutely miserable. I hate winter, as previously mentioned in a post, and so do my lips. My lips have cracked the $hits and are chapped and cracked. Last night I thought I'd better do something about it, so I gently massaged my LUSH bubblegum lipscrub into my lips for about a minute. It taste so delicious licking it off, I have a sugar tooth, so any excuse to put sugar in my mouth:) I read on primped that putting honey on your lips for ten minutes would not only delicious but also hydrating (it was also sticky, as I think I put too much on and some of it dripped off my lips and onto my top). I'm not sure if I actually managed to keep it on for ten minutes because all I wanted to do was lick it off, but I got the desired results, my lips were very appreciative of the extra hydration. To finish it off, I put on my trusty nivea hydro care lipbalm. I swear I have about 5 nivea lipbalms just floating around, I love them, they always look after my lips.
And now my lips are very smooth and soft and much nicer:)
Do you like the honey tip?
what is your favourite lipbalm?
did you like Lily's jacket in the previous post?

nice weekend

I was at my parents for the weekend. It was so nice, I spent the whole weekend just relaxing and hanging out with Lily and my family. And I finished off knitting Lily's jacket.

macadamia natural oil

I recently had a hair mask (macadamia healing oil treatment and deep repair masque) which reminded me of 3 things.
  1. I should do a review on this because it is fantastic
  2. I need to order some more online because I’m almost out, and
  3. I should have hair masks more often because my hair feels amazing afterwards.
My brother was patting my hair the other day because it was so soft, I think he was a bit jealous. I might have to lend him some when we go home to our parents place for the long weekend, so he too can have silky soft hair.
And if I lend it to him, I will also have to let my sister-in-law (SIL) use some too, and then I would definitely run out, so I really should order some more ASAP. I love strawberrynet.com, I was looking at this in the store and it was so much more expensive. God bless free shipping and cheap prices.
Onto the review and away from my random ramblings.
they say: (http://www.macadamiahair.com/)

I say...”Ditto” that is all. No not really what kind of review would it be if I didn’t add my own thoughts about these two products. They are the bees knees. I used this the other day and ever since I have become so vain about my hair. I’m always playing with it, and tossing it over my shoulder and just in general advertising how nice my hair is. It is less frizzy, is not tangled, it is incredibly soft and manageable. My only complaint is that hair pins fall out, because my hair is so silky, and I have to twist my hair ties around my hair an extra time so that my hair doesn’t fall out. My hair looks and feels so much more healthy, it looks very shiny and lustrous. I’m in love with this stuff.
How I use it: I shampoo my hair first and then towel dry it. I actually use quite a lot in my hair, because I have a lot of it, and I want to make sure that every last strand gets coated with this goodness in a jar. I get a small scoop of the mask, and I pump a single pump of the oil into my hand. I mix it together and then rub that though one section of my hair. I usually divide my hair and do one side, then the other, than put some into the roots of my hair, so I probably use 4 scoops of the stuff. I leave it in overnight to make sure that I am getting the most out of the masque and oil. I pop on my super cool shower cap and have a towel on my pillow so it doesn’t get dirty and get some beauty sleep. In the morning I just shampoo and condition as normal and then put some of the oil through the ends of my hair and use a heat protectant and blow dry it.
This mask is fantastic. It is my favourite go-to hair mask, and it always makes my hair look and feel amazing. I can not recommend this enough. If you live in Australia and have to put up with the crazy prices, buy it online on strawberrynet, they have free shipping and it is so much cheaper.
what is your favourite hair masks?
have you used the rest of the macadamia natural oil range?
Do you become incredibly vain after using the mask?

I was going to do a post on my favourite hair mask and treatment today, but i discovered that the latest 3 episodes of gossip girl are finally available to download from itunes. It took them ages and I have literally been checking itunes everyday for weeks! So I'm going to watch them and do a post about my hair later
